PassageMaker attended the China Sourcing Fair in Hong Kong from April 20 to April 23 2008
PassageMaker’s Founder and China Operations Director, Mike Bellamy, spoke at the “Buying from China: What new buyers need to know” conference during the China Sourcing Fair. This conference was held every day during the show from 12:30 pm to 3 pm.
PassageMaker also had a booth set up during the China Sourcing Fair: Baby & Children’s Products show. We where located in hall 10 booth 10S25.

PassageMaker Presents to International Trade Task Force
Michael Bellamy, founder of PassageMaker Sourcing Solutions and PassageMaker Factories visited Buffalo, New York from Guangdong Province, China, to deliver a presentation to the Buffalo District Office International Task Force on September 12, 2003.
Mr. Bellamy discussed best practices and pitfalls in finding suppliers, managing purchase orders, and handling quality, confidentiality and copy cat concerns in China. A former Rotary Foundation Ambassadorial Scholar, Mr. Bellamy speaks Chinese and Japanese. He is originally from Perry, New York.

PassageMaker Briefs State Bar of California’s Mission to China (September 2002)
We recently had the honor of welcoming the State Bar of California’s representatives to South China. PassageMaker offered a presentation entitled “A trading system in transition: Arranging production for export in mainland China, Y2002″ and organized a tour of a local manufacturing facilities. This included an open discussion about various trade and labor issues with the factory’s owner. “The presentation and the factory visit was a highlight for us. It was terrific to get a view from the field” remarked the group’s chief delegate.
I was fed up with middlemen & poorly run factories distorting pricing, failing to control quality and allowing intellectual property (IP) to be knocked off, so I decided to do something about it.
